Book Condition & PricingHow we grade our books. Disclaimer: The condition of all books in the Lost and Bound inventory is subjective. Due to the nature of an online used book store, we cannot examine every page in every book. We make note of any flaw that strays from the book's overall condition grade. Our business is geared more towards readers than rare book collectors; books are graded and priced as such. Books that are known to be rare will be priced as such. If the price of a book exceeds $10, we will accommodate collectors by verifying any print information and scanning in the cover, spine, back, or any requested pages. Please note that images of books shown on the site are not necessarily images of that particular copy of the book.

Search Tips
- Entering more search terms limits the search results - it does not expand them.
- Start with a simple search and only add more words
or criteria if you get too many results.
- Using "" around your title search will limit results to the exact phrase between the quotes.
- If your book title was not found, the title will automatically be broken up into keywords and searched by the individual words. Results will then be ranked according to how many of your search words were found in any title.
- Removing "The" from the beginning of a title may improve your results.
- Books that are in series are listed in the following format Series #x : Title regardless of how the series name appears on the cover. This is done so that books in series are shown together when sorted.
- Authors may be searched by
their first name, last name, both, or part of a name. This is useful for example if you want to browse Fantasy authors whose last name begins with the letter m. Just enter m into the last name field.
- Many books (especially older ones) do not have ISBN info in the database, so it is not a reliable way to search.
- If you find that some aspect of the search is not working properly or can be improved, please let us know.

Saved Cart Feature <--- This button allows you to view the saved cart access page.
The Saved Cart function allows you to save your shopping cart on our server for up to two months. This gives you extra time to browse the site or do price comparisons. You can come back later on any computer and view your saved items. In order for you to identify your cart you must pick a name for it. To access your saved cart in the future you must re-enter this name, so don't forget it. Saving items in your cart does not guarantee they will still be available to buy when you return to view them. If the items in your cart are no longer available when you return you will be notified and they will be removed from your cart. After 60 days your saved cart will be deleted. In order to save your shopping cart or add items to an already saved cart you must currently have items in your active shopping cart. To view your active shopping cart, click on the cart button at the top of your screen. This is your active shopping cart. It will automatically become empty when you close your browser or are inactive for 2 hours. In order to save this cart for longer periods of time you must use the save cart feature. To retrieve your saved cart at anytime simply click on the cart button at the top the page. Then click the saved cart button that appears. After retrieving items from your saved cart, the items in it will be added to your active shopping cart. Back to top Back to previous page

Shopping CartOur shopping cart utilizes a cookie.
All that this cookie contains is a random ID number used to keep items in your shopping cart as you browse through the site. This cookie is removed when you close your browser or are inactive for a long period of time. Therefore the cookie will not be used to store any information about you or your order. If you have cookies disabled on your browser then you will not be able to use the shopping cart. All modern browsers support cookies and they are usually enabled
by default.

Shipping & Handling
Note- We will not ship to prisons unless special arrangements have been made. Most prisons have strict rules on incoming mail and will only accept books direct from the publisher or from pre-determined major retailers. An alternative is to have books shipped elsewhere and make arrangements for someone to deliver them to the inmate.
Orders are shipped several times a week, within 2 business days of receiving the order excluding postal holidays. We will ship via the USPS by the methods listed in the table below. Clicking on the shipping method links will take you to the USPS website for more information. * Domestic delivery estimates are for the continental US only. Deliveries to AK, HI, APO addresses, Puerto Rico, etc. can take considerably longer. We recommend expedited shipping to such domestic locations.
**International delivery estimates can vary greatly based on destination and it depends largely on the destination's postal system. Not all countries support
global priority mailings for example.
***These estimates are based on those provided by the USPS and from other sources. Actual delivery times are almost always closest to the shortest times listed, however none of the above shipping methods have "guaranteed" delivery times by the USPS and so longer shipping times are possible.
All orders placed through the website default to the domestic standard Media Mail method. All international or domestic expedited shipping charges will need to be computed based on weight and destination. When you select a shipping method other than domestic standard, we will weigh your order and e-mail you with a link to view updated shipping rates and complete payment or cancel your order. Our standard US shipping rates for USPS Media Mail are as follows*:
$ 2.50 base rate for up to two books $ 0.25 for each additional book
Example: 5 books ship for $3.25

Payment, Security, & PrivacyWe accept payments by PayPal, Visa/Mastercard, check, or money order. All order information will be used strictly to complete the current order. You will not receive any e-mails or promotional materials from Lost and Bound without your consent. Lost and Bound will not provide other companies with your information. Your order will be shipped once payment is received. PayPalPayPal offers free payments to be made by credit card or an instant transfer from your bank account. PayPal has over 10 million members and is the #1 payment method on E-Bay. For more information about PayPal go to www.paypal.com.
     Visa / MasterCardWe also accept credit card payments made directly with Visa or MasterCard. Upon completing your order you will be transferred to a secure payment form at Authorize.net to enter your credit card information. Payment information is encrypted using 128-bit SSL technology. Your credit card will not actually be charged until your order is shipped.
  Check/Money OrderIf you wish to pay by Check/Money Order simply mail your payment along with your order number or a printout of your order receipt to:

Shipping rates for Marketplace items are determined by Amazon.com not LostAndBound. A portion of this shipping rate is kept by Amazon as part of their commission in addition to the fees charged directly to it's sellers. We try to price our Marketplace items fairly and take into consideration the charged shipping rates. Prices and shipping charges for Marketplace items are non-negotiable. Site FunctionalityLost and Bound was tested with different versions of Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Opera, and AOL. This site like many others has some features that may not work properly in old browsers. For example, in order to use our shopping cart system
your browser must support cookies, and they must be turned on. We also use Java-Script in several places to make navigation easier. But if you have Java-script disabled in your browser, you will still be able to navigate the site fully. Order Problems, Cancellations, and RefundsIf there is a problem with your order, or you just have a question please
contact us. If you have completed and submitted your order form, and chosen PayPal as your payment method, but have lost your direct link to the PayPal site with your order info you may do the following to complete payment: 1. Go to www.paypal.com and login to your account. 2. Click on the Send Money tab at the top of the screen. 3. Use [orders @ lostandbound.com]
for the recipient e-mail addres. 4. Enter the total amount owed for your order. 5. Set the type of transaction as Goods Non-Auction. 6. Include either your LostAndBound order# or your name in the subject. 7. Submit payment and you will receive a confirmation e-mail from PayPal. If you would like to cancel an order that has not yet shipped please let us know as soon as possible for a prompt and complete refund. If you have already received a confirmation of your order's shipment and would like to cancel you will receive a refund for the full amount minus shipping charges upon our receipt of the returned merchandise.
